Season of love , health and respiratory infections.
How can we prevent this respiratory health problems?
Yesterday while roaming in market i got the answer, i saw fresh green amlas. By sight , i remembered a lot about it. I used to eat amla when i was child. It has sour astrigent taste , which lures towards it.While learning Ayurveda, i got aware of it's medicinal properties specially immunity boosting one.
Ayurveda describes Amla as best Rasayana .what is rasayana? Rasayana means the substance having property to nourish all bodily tissues, improve their processes and functions. Amla do it.
Everyone should consume Amla,it increases vitality, energy levels and stamina. It gives longevity by nourishing all tissues. It retards degeneration. So Charaka compared it with nectar.It removes waste from tissues, open channels for nutrition causing increased vitality. It has best Pitta allevating property, so useful in pitta disorders. It improves function of nervous tissues, so memory n keep senses intact. It is best medicine for Diabetes Mellitis. It also improves skin complexion and hair growth.
For daily use, one can consume fresh Amla, powder,jam,sharbat, supari etc. BUT NEVER GO FOR ANY PROCESSED AMLA PRODUCTS WHICH CONTAINS or INVOLVES CHEMICALS,PACKED JUICE OF AMLA. It changes properties of Amla and ofcourse low or no potency.
When one want to consume Amla as a Rasayana , should take guidance of Vaidya.
